Helping People with Disabilities Reach Their Employment Goals
 

Support is provided every step of the way, including: student transitional planning, pre-employment training, career exploration, employment planning, job carving, job placement and job coaching services. Employment training is a time-limited support that assists job seekers to develop work related skills in preparation for community employment. Training is provided on an individualized basis and may include:

  • Transferrable skill training

  • Health and safety on the job

  • Job readiness classes

  • Career exploration

  • Workplace expectations

  • Résumé writing

  • Interview preparation

  • Employment applications

  • Work experience

  • Linkage to job placement
